The reality star wore look 15 from the Italian house's '90s collection with modern updates during her All's Fair season 2 press tour.

Kim Kardashian's vintage collecting habit continues to deepen. Since bringing on stylist Law Roach earlier this year, the two have pulled pieces from Tom Ford's Yves Saint Laurent and Cristóbal Balenciaga's eras. For her birthday, longtime friend Olivier Rousteing granted her access to the Paco Rabanne archives, loaning two chainmail minidresses from fall 1995 haute couture for her celebration dinner.

Her latest acquisition comes from Dolce & Gabbana's fall 1997 collection. During press appearances for All's Fair season 2, Kardashian stepped out in look 15: a burgundy open-knit minidress featuring needlepoint rose motifs across the skirt.

She honored portions of the original styling, layering the sheer dress over a black balconette bra and white skirt. Yet she also personalized the ensemble, steering the grungy aesthetic toward something more provocative. The original scalloped slip skirt was swapped for a tighter white underskirt, and she replaced the quirky black stockings with floral embroidery and glittery heels with PVC Gianvito Rossi mules.

This tendency to adapt archival pieces to her own sensibility marks Kardashian's approach to fashion history—treating each garment as material for a new chapter rather than a museum piece. Still, as her immersion in fashion's past grows more serious, one wonders whether she might eventually embrace a look in its entirety, eccentric tights included.
